Ein spontaner Trip führte mich nach Istanbul, eine Stadt, die mich mit ihrer faszinierenden Mischung aus Geschichte, Kultur und Moderne überwältigte. Am Bosporus gelegen, ist Istanbul eine pulsierende Metropole, in der Ost und West aufeinandertreffen.
Die kulturelle Vielfalt der Stadt ist in jedem Winkel spürbar – von den prächtigen Moscheen wie der Blauen Moschee und der Hagia Sophia bis hin zu den geschäftigen Basaren wie dem Großen Basar. Die beeindruckende Architektur und die reiche Geschichte der Stadt machen sie zu einem wahren Schmelztiegel der Kulturen.
Doch neben den berühmten Sehenswürdigkeiten und historischen Stätten bietet Istanbul auch eine blühende Graffitiszene, die die Vielfalt und den Puls der Stadt widerspiegelt. Bei meinem Streifzug durch die Straßen entdeckte ich eine Fülle von Tags, Throwups und Streetbombing – Ausdrücke einer urbanen Kreativität, die sich nicht an Grenzen hält.
In meiner ersten von drei Bildergalerien dieser Reise präsentiere ich eine Vielzahl von Graffiti-Werken aus Istanbul. A spontaneous trip took me to Istanbul, a city that overwhelmed me with its fascinating mix of history, culture and modernity. Located on the Bosphorus, Istanbul is a vibrant metropolis where East meets West.
The cultural diversity of the city can be felt in every corner – from the magnificent mosques such as the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia to the bustling bazaars such as the Grand Bazaar. The city’s impressive architecture and rich history make it a true melting pot of cultures.
But in addition to the famous sights and historical sites, Istanbul also has a thriving graffiti scene that reflects the diversity and pulse of the city. Wandering the streets, I discovered an abundance of tags, throw-ups and streetbombing – expressions of an urban creativity that knows no bounds.
