Während meiner Reise nach Bangkok im Oktober 2023 hatte ich das Privileg, den berühmten Graffiti Park Bangkok im Chaloemla Park gelegen zu besuchen. Diese legale Graffiti-Fläche ist ein wahres Paradies für Graffiti und Street Art-Enthusiasten. Hier treffen lokale Talente auf internationale Künstler, die die Wände mit atemberaubenden Werken zum Leben erwecken.
Die Anreise zum Graffiti Park ist bereits ein Abenteuer für sich. Mit dem hellgrünen Skytrain der Sukhumvit Line erreicht man bequem die Haltestelle Ratchathewi. Der Skytrain fährt weit über der Straße und hat eine atemberaubende Aussicht inklusive. Von dort aus sind es nur wenige Meter bis zum Graffiti Park. Alternativ bietet eine Bootsfahrt bis zum Siam Square/Hua Chang für nur 12 Baht eine andere faszinierende Aussicht auf die Stadt und ihre vielfältige Street Art-Szene. Vom Anleger folgt man einfach dem Weg zur Ratchathewi Station sieht den Graffiti Park.
Der Graffiti Park selbst ist ein Schmelztiegel der Kreativität. Die Wände sind lebendige Leinwände, auf denen Künstler ihre Geschichten und Visionen teilen. Von kunstvollen Tags bis zu detailreichen Murals – hier findet man die ganze Bandbreite der Street Art-Kunst.

This legal graffiti space is a true paradise for graffiti and street art enthusiasts. Here, local talent meets international artists who bring the walls to life with stunning works.
Getting to Graffiti Park is already an adventure in itself. The bright green skytrain of the Sukhumvit Line takes you comfortably to the Ratchathewi stop. The Skytrain runs far above the street and has a breathtaking view included. From there it is only a few meters to the graffiti park. Alternatively, a boat ride up to Siam Square/Hua Chang for just 12 baht offers another fascinating view of the city and its diverse street art scene. From the pier, simply follow the path to Ratchathewi Station sees the Graffiti Park.
