Im September 2020 habe ich einen unvergesslichen Trip in die Karibik gemacht und Curacao besucht. Diese wunderschöne Insel liegt in der südlichen Karibik und ist bekannt für ihre atemberaubenden Strände, ihr kristallklares Wasser und ihre kulturelle Vielfalt. Aber das Besondere an Curacao ist, dass die Insel nicht nur mit ihrer natürlichen Schönheit glänzt, sondern auch mit ihren bunten Straßen und der lebendigen Street Art-Szene.
Die Insel Curacao ist ein Schmelztiegel der Kulturen, geprägt von niederländischem, afrikanischem, jüdischem und indigenem Erbe. Diese Vielfalt spiegelt sich nicht nur in der lokalen Küche und den Traditionen wider, sondern auch in der Street Art, die überall auf der Insel zu finden ist. This beautiful island is located in the southern Caribbean and is known for its stunning beaches, crystal clear waters and cultural diversity. But what makes Curacao special is that the island shines not only with its natural beauty, but also with its colorful streets and vibrant street art scene.
The island of Curacao is a melting pot of cultures, marked by Dutch, African, Jewish and indigenous heritage. This diversity is reflected not only in the local cuisine and traditions, but also in the street art that can be found throughout the island. The buildings in Willemstad, the capital of Curacao, are living canvases for talented graffiti artists who transform the streets into a colorful spectacle with their works. Most notable are the street parties and the numerous works in Otrabanda, a district of Willemstad.
