In January, I treated myself to a very special highlight in the Bronx: the “Breaking Out” exhibition by Futura 2000 at the Bronx Museum. Futura, a legend of the early NYC graffiti scene of the 1970s and 80s, presents an impressive retrospective – from his iconic subways “Break” to his latest abstract works with futuristic atomic shapes.
